Camp run amuck

Quiet little camp on the North End Point of Fern Lake that has just been renovated. Two small bedrooms with queen beds. These are small rooms . There is a large 4 season porch with a pullout sleeper sofa for extra space Tiled walk-in shower. Large kitchen with plenty of seating at the table fully furnished with everything that you might need for your vacation with the exception of food. A great fire pit on the patio for summer nights. Garage side is not available for rental

Good to know

You have this quiet little relaxing place all to you self. It is off the beaten path- no crazy loud motor boats to deal with just a quiet little lake great for fishing and kayaking. There are two flat levels to play yard games. Large sun deck to get that great tan. Great fishing off the dock. Also there is a picnic table and gas grill to cook up that perfect steak at the end of the day. Keep in mind this is a small lake - could be shallow at times and a bit mucky on the bottom- which we can’t control. Yard games, small fishing boat with oars , kayaks, life jackets, firewood are all on site. Wi-Fi , Smart TV for you to use with your own tv options (we do not have cable) . Towels,linens and bedding are clean and fresh for you to use. Water and ice both come from a filtered fridge. Near by is a great Pizza & Ice-cream place called Kampersville Deli. It is also near my Favorite -Paddlers Pub. Neshobe Golf club is also close by. 15 minutes from Middlebury, 40 minutes to Rutland, hour to most ski resorts Relaxing time no matter what time of year!!

The rental part of this is the smaller side of the camp - the garage and upper floor is not available as part of the rental- there will be times that we will be staying in the upper part of the garage which is a completely separate space from your unit .

We feel like we won the lottery with this place! The views from the house and dock are gorgeous and the camp is beautiful. Tammie was so friendly and responsive and had so many thoughtful touches everywhere. Our family had so much fun kayaking, swimming and fishing. Fern Lake is a hidden gem. It was so peaceful there and the property feels very private. It is probably our favorite rental we have ever been to and I can't recommend it enough.

Wow, this place is such a gem! We were originally looking to stay on Lake Dunmore because I signed up for the triathlon there, but everything was booked and I found this special spot. Turned out to be perfect for us! Still super close to Branbury State Park, only about 5 to 10 minutes, but set in its own Private little oasis with woods on one side and sweet fern lake on the other side. Beautiful and quiet. Tammy thought of so many thoughtful touches to make our stay special, especially with kiddos. The play structure out front and all the toys were a bonus! I definitely recommend staying here if you can and we will for sure be back!

Every year this vacation rental provides a gorgeous home in a serene location with so much to do! You do not need to leave the house! Every amenity you could possibly need is provided! The hosts are super friendly and accommodating and we’ve already starting thinking about next year- which will be our fifth !

We had friends come to stay and we all had a nice time out on the water and at the campfire. It’s a really nice secluded little spot on the lake and the kids enjoyed all the toys.
